Turning research into policy solutions for South Asians across America.
About Us

ASANA Voices brings rigorous, evidence-based research to elected officials on the issues that matter most to the South Asian American community — strengthening policy on healthcare, economic development, workforce, education, and technology for the benefit of all Americans.

Bipartisanship by Design
We work with elected officials across the political spectrum. The issues we champion benefit from durable, cross-party support.Community-Rooted, Policy-Fluent
We listen first. Our credibility with policymakers comes from our connection to the community we represent and the rigor we bring to translating its needs into actionable policy. The needs we surface aren't niche. They're often an early signal of issues that matter to all Americans, and addressing them is a way to both serve our community and strengthen the country as a whole.Evidence Over Ideology
We ground every recommendation in data and research, not partisan talking points. Good policy starts with good evidence.Long-Term Impact
We focus on policy that builds lasting infrastructure — research, data, and institutions — rather than short-term wins that don't outlast a single news or campaign cycle.
Our Founder & CEO
Prince's path to ASANA Voices began as a tech start-up founder. Before May 2018, he was a healthy but chronically worried start-up tech founder — until the pressures of building a company caught up with him. He suddenly became barely able to walk, with blurry vision and spiking blood pressure, and emergency room doctors incorrectly assumed it was a stroke after a series of hospitalizations..
The experience led Prince to confront a hard truth: heart disease remains the leading cause of death in America, and much of it is preventable — yet the research and policy infrastructure meant to catch it early often misses the populations most at risk, including South Asian Americans, who face elevated cardiovascular risk at younger ages than the broader population. That gap, and the realization of how personal and preventable it was, became the catalyst for founding ASANA Voices.
Under Prince's leadership, ASANA Voices operates as a policy organization that is evidence-based, civically engaged, and bipartisan by design — serving as a bridge between the South Asian American community and elected officials, and convening researchers, advocates, and policymakers around shared evidence to advance solutions that serve everyone.
